BRAVO DONE AIRING 'DAYS' REPEATS

Fans of NBC’s Days of Our Lives were absolutely delighted when they heard the news that repeats of the series starting from the year of 2011 were going to be shown on the network BRAVO. But, news has now come out that the network is apparently done airing the repeats. According to their online schedule, which maps out what will be shown on television, Days of Our Lives will no longer be among the schedule of television shows affiliated with the network as of March 22nd. There is no reason given as of right now as to why the network has pulled the show. There could be three main reasons. One, they are looking for another place to put it on the schedule. Two, they only inked a deal to show a couple of episodes from 2011. Or, three, the series wasn’t hitting the ratings point they wanted.

Either way, it is very sad news for soap fans. After all, the repeats did just begin airing not too long ago. But, who knows, maybe old episodes of Days of Our Lives will find another home. After all, it is great to relive so many amazing stories!

  1. No big deal at all. 2011 not that long ago that I need to watch it again.

  2. Maybe they would have gotten better ratings if they had aired DOOL at a more sensible time.

  3. It would have had more success if they started back in the beginning. I know a lot of people who are 4th generation (like my daughter) who need people to explain to them the back-stories... Would love to see it show from the beginning. Even if they only offered it for on demand say 2 episodes per week aired. My daughter said she added it up once if she could watch all, episodes based on the usual 37-40min show it would take her 8 years of watching 6 hours per day every day with 10 hrs Fri/Sat & Sun. But she said it would be so worth it just to see the story lines and the weddings and murders so she could understand people. I hope someone will someday consider airing the beginning or even writing a book... Remember the times when days had prime time events for 3-5 nights... I loved those.

  5. They didn't give it enough time. Plus, it was on 5-6 a.m. Would have been better later at night.
