EXCLUSIVE: Eileen Davidson NOT Done at 'DAYS'

One of the ruling queens of the daytime genre, Eileen Davidson, is sticking around for a little while longer on the NBC soap opera, Days of Our Lives. An inside source for the soap opera confirmed that Davidson will be reprising her role of Kristen Blake DiMera very soon. Currently, the actress has reprised her role of Susan Banks on the NBC soap opera. Since her reprisal of Susan, many have speculated that Kristen couldn’t be far behind!

Eileen Davidson is one of the most beloved actresses in the daytime genre. And, fans always love when Eileen gets some time to shine in her many, many roles on daytime television. Like last time, with her reprisal of Susan, Davidson’s air time on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless will not be impacted. This will make Mrs. Davidson one busy gal! But, as history has taught us, being busy doesn’t mean a thing to Eileen! She still dishes out an Emmy worthy performance each week!

Eileen Davidson last portrayed the role of Kristen in April of 2015. Since then, the character has presumed deceased after falling out of a window.

SO, ARE YOU EXCITED THAT DAVIDSON IS STICKING AROUND IN SALEM? TELL US ALL YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW!

  1. Eileen should stay in Salem. She's 100% better on DAYS than on Y&R. Not even close.

  2. What?? You don’t like Eileen as Ashley Abbott? I love all her characters. Well except Susan lol

  3. I do not like Kristen DiMera at all! She is evil, backstabbing , and deceptive. Nothing but a big trouble maker. But, can Eileen Davidson play that character or what!! And the way she transforms into Susan is pure talent. I don't know how she does the mouth, teeth, and facial expression without laughing through the whole taping. A very talented actress. So, for her acting skills, yes; but, I'd like to see a strong, forceful character in a different way than Kristin is known to be.

  4. Casey, how do you think Marcy Walker would have fared if she had decided to continue her daytime-soap career past the mid-2000s like Eileen Davidson has? In 2005, when Marcy's final "All My Children" scenes aired, the traditional Big Three networks had nine daytime soaps between them. Today, they only have four daytime soaps between them. If this post of mine seems too off-topic, let me say that a certain Facebook friend would argue that Eileen effectively replaced Marcy on "Santa Barbara" in 1991 even though Eileen was cast as Kelly Capwell instead of Marcy's Eden Capwell character. Casey, how do YOU think Marcy would fare as a "housewife" for "The Real Housewives" franchise? Eileen has ALREADY been a "housewife" on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

  5. No offense, Casey, but you should have said "Ms. Davidson" instead of "Mrs. Davidson."
