EXCLUSIVE: MORGAN FAIRCHILD JOINING 'DAYS'!

NBC’s Days of Our Lives is no stranger to adding legendary actors to their cast for a short time. In fact, every soap opera does it. What’s the reason? Well, to boost ratings of course! And, come this summer, ratings just might go through the roof!

Daytime Indulgence has learned that NBC’s last remaining sudser has tapped the legendary and beautiful Morgan Fairchild to play a role for a short term story arc. According to DAYS’ taping schedule, Fairchild might’ve already taped her scenes. DAYS tapes 6 months in advance and Morgan will begin airing in June.

Many fans have speculated that the legendary actress could come on in a number of roles. But, the idea that has been tossed around the most by fans is Ava Vitali’s mother. Fans speculate this because Patch (Stephen Nichols) and Ava’s son has come to Salem. Tripp (Steve and Ava’s son) has also reconnected with the Vitali family. He’s even become the heir to their fortune.

Regardless of the character, DAYS will be RED HOT this summer! We cannot wait to see Fairchild on the legendary soap.

The last time Morgan Fairchild was on a soap was back in 1996 when her character of Sydney Chase crossed over from The City to General Hospital. Fairchild’s television career even began with a soap role. She played Jennifer Pace on Search For Tomorrow from 1973-1977.

NEWS OF AN ACTING LEGEND COMING TO 'DAYS' WAS FIRST REPORTED BY JASON47 DAYS WEBSITE!

  1. So often these "Stunt Castings" are a BUST, so hope this one goes OK.
It could be fun, but more than likely is will be a dud...as usual.

  2. Oh please Morgan Fairchild be involved in any story that doesn't involve The Johnsons. That family is too boring being stuck in the Ava vortex. No, I want her to be a regal woman with a no bs attitude who could probably go up against a Lauren Koslow's Kate. It could be good tv.
