IS 'B&B's' REVAMP WORKING?

In honor of its 30th Anniversary, CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful has started to revamp itself. The hit soap opera has even brought back a familiar last name. That last name is of course Spectra. B&B is even reminding fans of the stories that made the show. And, they are letting fans indulge in everything Australia.

But, with all of this going on, the average fan may wonder if all of these moves might bring the show into a bright future. According to Soap Opera Network, ratings for the week of February 20th have gone down a bit for the soap. Ratings have decreased by 57,000 from the week before. This brings the soap down to a total of 3.7 million viewers.

Now, do not worry! These are actually not bad ratings at all. These ratings are actually very steady, considering how soaps are no longer the TV industry front-runner. So, B&B is still going kind of strong on the ratings front. But, what about the fan front?

Bold is known for being a fan favorite with soap fans around the world. But, fans are actually starting to be tough on the show. Several fans are claiming that it is just repeating history, with nothing being different. Many are saying nothing is different from what Sally 1.0 (Darlene Connelly) did to the Forrester family.

However, there are still millions who are claiming that Bold is writing some of the best material it has had in years.

But, we here at Daytime Indulgence want you to be the judge.

SO, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING OF ‘B&B’s’ TURN AROUND? TELL US ALL YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!

  1. Um, how would Marcy Walker fare as a replacement for Katherine Kelly Lang in the role of Brooke Logan? This ISN'T to say that KKL will be leaving the role anytime soon, so people shouldn't freak out.

Also, is it true that KKL auditioned for a role on "Santa Barbara" back in the day? How would SHE have fared as Kelly Capwell?

  2. I personally wish "Santa Barbara" had done some location shooting in Australia back in the day. The Great Barrier Reef would've provided an excuse for Eden Capwell to go scuba diving again! :D
