HILLARY B. SMITH TALKS ABOUT REPRISING NORA ON 'GH'!

Soap Opera legend Hillary B. Smith has held countless soap roles. However, there is one that stands out to just about every soap fan. In 1992, Hillary debuted on ABC’s One Life To Live as legal-eagle Nora Hanen. Smith would spend the next 21 years as the go-to lawyer of Llanview. She would win court case after court case and also win over the hearts of millions of fans.

When ABC Television Network won the rights back to All My Children and One Life To Live, fans couldn’t stop guessing who would pop up first on ABC’s last remaining soap General Hospital. And, the choice was made rather quickly. The choice was of course Hillary B. Smith.

Recently, B. Smith sat down with Soap Opera Digest to detail what it is like for her to return as this historic soap character.

HILLARY B. SMITH: It’s a character I created on camera. The fact that she was so beloved and that they felt that she still had enough of a fan base to bring her back, it’s incredibly flattering.

Fans can read more about Hillary’s return as Nora in the newest issue of Soap Opera Digest. Fans can also read up on what their other OLTL faves have been up to.
